Overview
The Raymarine Race Master Wireless System is a solar powered wireless tactical race compass range for sailboat racing, with compass-only and system configurations available for 868 MHz or 916 MHz wireless regions. It gives the helm and crew a clear view of heading, wind shift, lift and header information, line bias, and race timer functions from a dual LCD display that can be read from either side of the boat.
This range fits racing sailors who want useful tactical data without running instrument cables through the hull or down the mast. The Race Master can work as a standalone compass, while the system versions add hull data through a T910 through-hull depth, speed, and temperature triducer and a T121 hull transmitter.

The 868 MHz variants are for Europe, while the 916 MHz variants are for the Americas, Asia, and Australasia. The compass variants center on the Race Master display itself, while the system variants add through-hull sensor and transmitter hardware for a more complete racing instrument setup.
- T070-916: Compass configuration with 916 MHz wireless frequency. This version suits boats in 916 MHz regions that need the Race Master compass and tactical display functions without the added hull data package.
- T070-868: Compass configuration with 868 MHz wireless frequency. This version suits boats in European 868 MHz regions that need the Race Master compass and tactical display functions without the added hull data package.
- T074-868: System configuration with triducer and solar panel, using 868 MHz wireless frequency. This version includes the T910 through-hull depth, speed, and temperature triducer with flush mount fitting, the T121 hull transmitter, and the T138 external solar panel for the hull transmitter.
- T074-916: System configuration with triducer, using 916 MHz wireless frequency. This version includes the T910 through-hull depth, speed, and temperature triducer with flush mount fitting and the T121 hull transmitter for adding hull data to the Race Master setup.
Installation and setup
The wireless layout is useful on race boats where keeping weight, cable runs, and deck clutter under control matters. The compass display can be positioned for cockpit visibility, and the system versions add through-hull hardware for boats that also need speed, depth, and water temperature data in the instrument network.
For the system versions, installation planning should include the through-hull triducer location, hull transmitter placement, and the correct wireless frequency for the sailing region. The T074-868 configuration also includes an external solar panel for powering the hull transmitter, which should be placed where it can receive useful light during normal use.
