Overview
The Lopolight Tri-Color Anchor Light - 1NM, with FB Base is a combined masthead navigation light that gives you a tri-color sailing light and a 360° white anchor light in one unit. It runs on 10-32VDC, draws 2.6W, and is rated IP68 for wet, exposed mounting on a boat.
This model uses a horizontal FB (flat base) mount that keeps the footprint low and gives you clean cable routing through the center of the base for deck or pole-style installations. The housing diameter is Ø92.5mm with a 68mm height, and the light comes pre-cabled with a 0.75m shielded marine-grade lead.
Key features
- Combined tri-color and 360° anchor functions in one fixture for vessels under 12m
- 1 nautical mile visibility rating
- Wide-input 10-32VDC operation for 12V and 24V electrical systems
- Low power draw: 2.6W (150mA at 12VDC, 81mA at 24VDC)
- IP68-rated for rain, spray, and washdowns when properly installed
- Horizontal FB base with centered cable exit for a tidy, low-profile mount
- Pre-cabled with 0.75m shielded marine-grade cable; minimum feed wire gauge 0.5mm² (AWG22)
Variants
This light is offered in multiple configurations based on housing finish.
The finish changes between variants. The light functions, 1NM visibility, 10-32VDC electrical range, dimensions, cable length, and FB base mounting style remain the same.
- 101-009-FB (Finish: Silver). A clean visual match for aluminum spars, radar poles, and bright topside hardware.
- 101-009-FB-B (Finish: Black). A darker look that stays visually low-profile on black spars and modern rigging packages.
What’s included
- Navigation light
- 0.75m shielded marine-grade cable (pre-attached)

Installation and setup
Mount it horizontally using the FB base, with either a top screw-down installation or a from-below mount depending on how your masthead, pole, or mounting pad is built. Plan for a clear 360° line of sight and keep it away from antennas, wind instruments, or other fittings that can shadow the beam.
Because the cable exits through the center of the base, it routes neatly through a masthead plate or inside a pole. On open deck mounts, seal fasteners and cable penetrations to prevent water tracking into the core or wiring chase.
Electrical and switching
The unit operates on DC systems from 10 to 32 volts and draws 150mA at 12VDC or 81mA at 24VDC. Size the feed wiring to at least 0.5mm² (AWG22) and route the cable where it will not be pinched by mast movement, hinges, or folding mechanisms.
It is a combined tri-color and anchor light, so your switch panel should be set up so the correct navigation mode is selected without running both functions at the same time.
On-board use and fit check
This style of combined light is a common choice on sailboats up to 12 meters where you want tri-color navigation lighting under sail and a dedicated all-round white anchor light at night without adding separate fixtures. It also suits small craft that need a compact, low-draw light at the top of a pole or mast where vibration and weather exposure are constant.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the housing after saltwater runs and washdowns, and keep the lens clean so the light sectors stay sharp. During seasonal checks, inspect the cable for chafe at entry points and confirm fasteners remain snug after heavy weather or trailering.
