Overview
The Raymarine T70584 is a complete i50 and i60 sailing instrument pack that gives a helm station dedicated wind, speed, and depth data without piecing the system together display by display. It combines three instrument heads with matching transducers, so it suits sailboats that need clear underway information for coastal cruising, club racing, and general passagemaking.
The pack includes i50 speed and depth displays with oversized LCD digits, plus an i60 analogue wind display with a wind angle pointer and digital wind speed readout. Each display uses red backlighting for night use, and the instruments are built around a 110 mm x 115 mm face size with a 44 mm depth, which is useful when replacing older Raymarine ST60+ instruments or planning a clean panel layout.
Power is based on a 12 V DC supply with a 10 V to 16 V operating range. The instruments are IPX6 rated for cockpit and helm environments exposed to spray and washdowns, and they connect through SeaTalkNG with support for NMEA 2000 and older SeaTalk networks when the proper adapters are used.
Key features
- Complete wind, speed, and depth package with three instrument displays and matching transducers included.
- i50 speed and depth displays use oversized digits that are easy to read from the helm during day or night sailing.
- i60 wind display combines an analogue wind angle indicator with an LCD speed readout for quick sail trim checks.
- SeaTalkNG network-ready, with NMEA 2000 and SeaTalk integration support for mixed Raymarine instrument systems.
- 12 V DC operation with a 10 V to 16 V input range, typical display-only power draw under 1 W, and maximum draw of 2.4 W with a transducer connected.
- IPX6 waterproof rating helps the instruments stand up to cockpit spray, rain, and routine washdowns.
- 110 mm x 115 mm instrument footprint matches older ST60+ displays, which helps simplify many retrofit installations.
- Surface mounting is supported, with optional trunnion mounting available when a bracket-style installation works better at the helm.
Installation and setup
This pack is built for a permanent sailboat instrument installation, with transducers feeding the dedicated speed, depth, and wind displays. The speed and depth functions use thru-hull transducers, while the wind data comes from a short-arm masthead wind transducer. As with any thru-hull installation, hull material, access inside the boat, fairing requirements, and haul-out timing should be checked before fitting the sensors.
The included SeaTalkNG cabling supports a cleaner network layout and allows the displays to share data with compatible Raymarine equipment. The instruments can also be used as repeaters for networked data, or connected directly to the appropriate analogue transducers depending on the system layout.
Electrical and network integration
The system is intended for 12 V DC boats rather than 24 V-only electrical systems. Its low current draw makes it practical for sailboats where battery capacity matters, especially during overnight passages or long days under sail with electronics running continuously.
SeaTalkNG compatibility makes the pack a good fit for Raymarine instrument networks, autopilot systems, and multifunction displays. NMEA 2000 support gives it a route into broader marine electronics networks when the installation uses the correct cabling and adapters.
Use cases on board
This instrument pack is well suited to sailboats where the crew wants wind angle, wind speed, boat speed, and depth visible without changing pages on a multifunction display. It gives the helm fast access to the numbers used for sail trim, shallow-water awareness, starts, tacking decisions, and monitoring performance through the water.
It is especially useful for replacing aging instrument heads on boats already using Raymarine gear, as well as for new helm panels where dedicated displays are preferred over relying only on a chartplotter screen.
