Overview
The Raymarine T70226 is an i70s sailing instrument system pack for bringing wind, depth, speed and temperature data onto a clear multifunction display at the helm, nav station or cockpit instrument pod. The pack is built around the Raymarine i70s color instrument display and includes the transducer hardware and SeaTalkng network parts needed for a complete wind, depth and speed instrument setup.
The i70s display uses a 4.1 in TFT LCD screen with 320 x 240 resolution, 16-bit color and 1,200 cd/m2 brightness, so key numbers stay readable in strong daylight. Large characters up to 1.7 in high help when the display is mounted farther away, such as on a mast pod, overhead panel or companionway-facing cockpit location.
This system fits boats using Raymarine SeaTalkng networking and can integrate with NMEA 2000 data through the proper SeaTalkng to DeviceNet adapter. It is a practical match for sailboats that need a clean upgrade from separate analog instruments to a networked display for wind angle, wind speed, boat speed, depth and related navigation data.
Key features
- 4.1 in sunlight-viewable i70s color display with 320 x 240 resolution and 1,200 cd/m2 brightness for clear instrument readings on deck.
- Displays wind, speed, depth, tridata, engine, environment, fuel and navigation data when the matching sensors and network data are available.
- Optically bonded display construction helps maintain contrast and reduces the chance of fogging inside the display.
- AIS repeater mode can show nearby AIS targets from a compatible NMEA 2000 AIS receiver, including the closest 25 AIS-equipped vessels.
- SeaTalkng networking supports integration with Raymarine instrument systems, with NMEA 2000 compatibility through the correct adapter cable.
- iTC-5 converter brings analog depth, speed, temperature, wind, compass and rudder transducer signals onto the SeaTalkng network.
- IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof rating for the i70s display supports exposed cockpit and helm installations where spray and washdowns are part of normal use.
- Low 1.7 W display power consumption and 12 V dc nominal supply suit sailboats where battery draw matters during longer passages.
- Operating temperature range of -25 C to +55 C supports use across cold mornings, hot cockpits and changing offshore conditions.

Installation and setup
The i70s display is suited to surface mounting at the helm, cockpit bulkhead, pedestal pod or nav area where crew can check the numbers quickly while trimming sails or watching depth. The iTC-5 converter is typically mounted in a protected location near the transducer cable runs and then connected to the SeaTalkng backbone for data and power.
The wind transducer gives the system masthead wind input, while the DST800 through-hull transducer supplies depth, boat speed through water and temperature data. For a clean installation, confirm the through-hull location, hull material requirements and cable routing before drilling or replacing an existing transducer.
Network compatibility
This pack is made for a SeaTalkng instrument network and works well on boats that already carry Raymarine displays, autopilots or sensors. With the correct adapter, the i70s can also read compatible NMEA 2000 network data, which is useful when engine, navigation or AIS information is already available elsewhere on board.
The display supports user-selectable data sources, which helps on boats with more than one source for the same information, such as GPS position or depth. That matters when refitting a sailboat in stages, where older analog sensors, newer network devices and multifunction displays may all be present during the upgrade.
Use on board
This sailpack is a good fit for coastal cruisers, club racers and offshore-capable sailboats that need one readable instrument hub instead of scattered single-purpose gauges. It keeps the core sailing numbers close at hand for trimming, piloting, anchoring and navigating shallow approaches.
For best results, match the installation to the boat’s network layout and confirm that the transducer types and through-hull requirements suit the vessel before installation. Once fitted, the system gives the crew a straightforward way to monitor the data that matters most while sailing.
