The Vimar Idea 16213 is a 2P+E French-standard (NF) SICURY socket outlet module for 250 V AC circuits, rated 16 A at 50-60 Hz, with a locking device for dedicated plugs.

It fits a 2-module opening in the Vimar Idea system and mounts flush in a bulkhead or panel, giving you a clean AC outlet in places like the cabin, galley, or nav station. With an IP20 rating and no lid, it is meant for dry interior locations rather than exposed or washdown areas.

• VM16213.B - Color: Ivory (similar to RAL 9001). A lighter tone that blends with off-white and cream interiors.

Compatibility and fit

This is a modular insert intended for the Vimar Idea system and a 2-module position. For a finished installation you will need the matching Idea support and cover plate or frame used on your boat.

The outlet format follows the French standard, so it is suited to systems that use French-style 2P+E plugs and sockets. If your vessel is wired for a different shore-power outlet standard, match the plug type on board before ordering.

Installation and setup

Plan it as part of an AC branch circuit off your onboard distribution, with power isolated before any work starts. The module is flush mounted and snaps into the support, then the conductors land on screw terminals.

The locking feature is used with dedicated plugs that engage the mechanism, and the supplied releasing device is used to unlock when needed. Use the front label space to mark the circuit so guests and crew know what it feeds.
