Overview

The Vimar Eikon 20060 is a 2P 10AX 2-way switch module with two buttons, six terminals, directional arrows, and a central OFF position for 250 V circuits. It is rated 10 A and allows up to 100 W on self-ballasted lamps, so it fits onboard AC switching jobs where a clear stop position matters.

The body is halogen-free thermoplastic with a matt finish, and the module snaps into a flush-mounted installation. Its compact 22.3 x 49 x 43.5 mm format works well where an Eikon modular device is already specified and panel space is limited.

With an IP40 rating, this switch belongs in interior panels that stay dry and protected rather than open deck or washdown areas. The label area is useful when the circuit should be identified at a glance.

Variants

This product is offered in three finish options within the same Eikon 20060 switch format.

The finish changes between variants. The electrical rating, central OFF layout, six-terminal configuration, and overall dimensions stay the same across the range.

• VM20060.B: White. This finish blends into white interior trim and light-colored switch panels.
• VM20060.N: Silver. The silver face suits metal-look and contemporary cabin or helm panels.
• VM20060: Grey. The grey finish works with darker trims and equipment panels without changing the switching function.

Installation and fit

This module is a good match for replacement work on boats that already use Vimar Eikon frames and related mounting parts. The snap fastening keeps the front tidy, and the built-in format suits cabin panels, helm consoles, galleys, and other interior control points.

Because it is a maintained 2-way switch with a center OFF position, it fits applications where the operator needs a defined stop point instead of a momentary action. The directional arrows help when the circuit controls an up and down or open and close movement.

Compatibility and use on board

Check that the circuit is a 250 V installation and that the load stays within the 10 A and 10 AX rating. For lamp loads with integrated control gear, keep within the 100 W limit.

This switch makes sense for refits and new interior panels where the finish has to match existing Eikon hardware and where the switch face needs to stay compact. It is less suited to exposed exterior locations because IP40 protection is intended for dry, enclosed mounting positions.
