It runs on Multivolt 9-33V DC (works on 12V and 24V systems) with power consumption under 12W, and the housing is IP67 completely sealed for wet compartments and washdowns. The body measures 222 x 96 x 25 mm (8.74 x 3.78 x 0.98 in) with mounting holes spaced 193 mm (7.60 in) on center.

• 980629501: White light with an extra wide beam pattern. The wider spread helps when you want to wash a larger area with light, such as a locker, lazarette, or under-gunwale storage.
• 980629001: White light with a standard beam pattern. The standard pattern keeps the light more concentrated, which suits smaller work areas and equipment bays.
• 980629111: Blue light with a standard beam pattern. Blue output is commonly used where you want colored utility lighting while keeping the same mounting footprint.
• 980604061: White and red light with a standard beam pattern. This version gives you access to white light for general tasks and red light when you prefer lower-glare lighting in a cabin or cockpit.

Installation and setup

The DuraLED 50LP is a surface-mount lamp, so it installs on a flat panel without a large cutout. Plan for an overall footprint of 222 x 96 mm and confirm the 193 mm mounting-hole spacing works with your backing surface and fastener access.

The lamp comes pre-wired with tinned twin-core marine cable; cable length depends on the version. Route the cable away from sharp edges and heat sources, and make connections in a dry, protected location whenever possible.

Electrical and system integration

Multivolt 9-33V DC makes it straightforward on either a 12V or 24V boat, including systems that see voltage fluctuations. Built-in spike and reverse polarity protection adds extra margin, but it should still be installed on a properly protected circuit with a suitable switch or control at the helm or distribution panel.
