Overview
The Simrad 000-13754-001 is a dash mount kit for Simrad NSS9 evo3 and evo3S displays, and it also fits B&G Zeus3 9 and Zeus3S 9 units. It supports a helm install where the 9-inch display sits into a console cutout for a low-profile fit that stays steady when the boat is running in chop.
This is a mounting accessory only, used when you are planning a dash or console installation rather than a bracket mount. Before cutting, confirm the exact display model and make sure there is enough clearance behind the panel for connectors and cable routing.
Key features
- Fits 9-inch Simrad NSS9 evo3 and NSS9 evo3S displays
- Also fits 9-inch B&G Zeus3 9 and Zeus3S 9 displays
- Made for dash mounting so the display sits in a panel cutout instead of on a gimbal bracket
- Helps keep the display secure in a vibrating helm when fastened to a solid backing surface
- Useful for tight helms where you want the screen close to the panel and out of the way
- Mounting kit only; display and cables are not included
Compatibility and fit
Use this kit only with the 9-inch NSS or Zeus3 family listed above. Other screen sizes use different dash mount hardware, so match the kit to the display size and generation before you start the cutout.
Installation and setup
Dash mounting typically involves cutting the console opening, dry-fitting the unit, then tightening the mounting hardware from the back side. If the dash surface is thin or flexes, a backing plate helps reduce movement over time. As with any helm cutout, sealing the exposed edge and any penetrations is standard practice to keep water out of the dash structure.
Use on board
This mount style suits center consoles, pilothouses, and sailboat pedestals where you want a clean install that does not snag lines or knees. It also helps when multiple electronics are stacked in a tight dash and you need predictable spacing around the display.
Maintenance and care
After the first few trips, recheck fasteners and confirm the panel is not compressing or cracking. A quick seasonal check for looseness and for chafe on the wiring behind the dash helps prevent intermittent power or network issues.
