Overview
The Simrad 000-13756-001 is a dash mount kit for flush-mounting an NSS16 evo3/evo3S or Zeus3/Zeus3S 16 multifunction display into a helm panel.
It replaces a bracket-style mount with a glass-bridge look that keeps the dash clean, and it keeps the screen tight to the panel so it is less exposed to knocks around the wheel or nav station.
This kit is specific to the 16-inch platform, which matters when you are planning a new cutout or trying to match an existing dash opening during a refit.
Key features
- Dash and panel flush-mount solution sized for 16-inch NSS evo3/evo3S and Zeus3/Zeus3S displays
- Creates a low-profile installation with the display face sitting flat against the helm surface
- Rear-fastened mounting style keeps hardware out of sight from the front of the dash
- Useful for new helms and electronics refits where a bracket mount would stick out into the cockpit
- Helps keep the display area clear of lines, grab rails, and normal cockpit traffic
Compatibility and fit
Confirm the display family before cutting: this dash kit matches the NSS16 evo3/evo3S and the Zeus3/Zeus3S 16 size. It is not a universal mount and it is not intended for other screen sizes.
Plan for rear clearance behind the dash for plugs and cable bend radius, and make sure the mounting area is flat so the display face seats evenly.
Installation and setup
Dry-fit the display and mark the opening carefully before you cut. If you are working with cored fiberglass, seal the exposed core around the cutout to help prevent moisture intrusion over time.
Route power, network, and transducer cabling so nothing is pinched when the display is secured, and leave enough slack to pull the unit forward for service later.
Use on board
This mounting style makes sense for helms where you want a tidy instrument plane and fewer snag points, especially on sportfishing boats and performance sailboats where people move fast around the cockpit.
Maintenance and care
Recheck fasteners after the first few runs, then periodically as part of normal helm inspections. Keep the dash surface clean so grit does not work its way between the display and the panel.
