Overview

The Vimar EIKON Series is a range of 3-module round British cover plates for finishing compatible British Standard wiring points in protected interior spaces on board. Each plate measures 95 x 95 mm with a 9 mm profile, mounts horizontally or vertically, and uses clamp fastening for a clean finished face around the installation.

This is the trim plate for the front of the electrical point rather than the switching mechanism itself. It is halogen-free, rated IP00, and suitable for built-in installation, wall ducts, and subfloor installation duct boxes, which makes it a practical choice for yacht and boat interiors where the switch location is dry and visually exposed.

The shared format remains the same across the range: a 3-module round British Standard cover plate with a 95 x 95 mm footprint, 9 mm depth, horizontal or vertical mounting, clamp fastening, halogen-free construction, and IP00 protection. Frame appearance also changes with the selected finish, including white, chromed, and gold-toned surrounds depending on the variant.

Compatibility and fit

This cover plate is intended for 3-module British Standard arrangements and works where the installation needs the softer round EIKON look instead of a square frame. On a boat, that usually means cabins, salons, corridors, heads, and other enclosed spaces where the switching system is protected and the finish is part of the interior design.

Because the plate itself is IP00, it is better suited to dry accommodation areas than open deck positions or washdown zones. It is a good match for refits and new interior installations where you want the switch face to line up with surrounding joinery, metal hardware, or other EIKON trim details.
