Overview
The Jabsco 38245-3092RSP is a 12V raw water Quiet Flush E2 electric marine toilet with a compact bowl, touch-panel control, and a quick-release discharge pump system. It uses a diaphragm rinse pump for sea, river, or lake water, runs within a 9.6 to 14.4 VDC range, and is set up for a 25A fuse on a 12V circuit.
This model suits boats where head compartment space is limited and hose routing still needs to stay manageable. The base can be oriented for left, right, or rear routing, the discharge pump can rotate 180 degrees, and the compact footprint is about 14 x 13.9 x 16.3 in. The bowl is glazed vitreous china with an ABS base assembly, so cleanup is straightforward and the fixings stay covered.
Day-to-day use is simple from the touch panel. You get eco, normal, and empty flush modes, with eco flush using 1.0 L of water and the empty cycle leaving the bowl dry when the boat is underway.

Installation and service
On many boats, the hard part of a toilet install is not the bowl itself but the way plumbing has to snake through a tight compartment. This unit gives more freedom there. The base can be set to suit the space, the pump can be turned to match that layout, and the discharge can be arranged with either a straight or 90 degree port.
It can be installed on powerboats and sailboats, above or below the waterline. When service is needed, the quick-release system gives direct access to the discharge pump and hose without pulling the whole toilet apart, which is a real advantage when the unit sits close to a bulkhead or under a counter.
Electrical and system fit
This is a 12VDC toilet with intermittent duty and a recommended 25A fuse. The power leads are 6 ft long in 14 AWG, and the touch panel connects through a 3 m quick-connect cable, which helps when the control needs to be mounted in a more convenient spot inside the head compartment.
For plumbing, the rinse side uses 19 mm (3/4 in) hose connections and the waste discharge uses a 25 mm (1 in) hose barb. A 38 mm (1.5 in) discharge can be used with an adaptor when the rest of the sanitation system calls for it.
Use on board
This raw water version makes sense when you do not want to use freshwater tank capacity for flushing. It is a good fit for coastal cruisers, charter boats, and race boats where head space is tight, service access is awkward, and keeping the bowl dry while underway is useful.
