Overview

The Vimar Eikon 20697 is a 2-module round cover plate for panel mounting, made in metal with a lacquered finish and sized at about 40 x 137 mm with an 8.8 mm depth. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically and is used to finish the visible front edge of a built-in electrical point in the Eikon range.

On a boat, this is the trim piece that gives a switch or control position a cleaner, more finished look once the devices are already in place. The family is halogen-free, includes a label surface, and is best suited to protected interior locations because the plate carries an IP00 rating.

This cover plate is offered in three finish options within the same 2-module round panel format.

Across the listed variants, the change is color and finish appearance. The panel-mounting layout, 2-module capacity, and horizontal or vertical installation remain consistent across this family.

• VM20697.N13: Matt Silver. This finish keeps a lighter metallic look around the control point and works well with silver-toned trim and fittings.
• VM20697.B01: Arctic White. This finish keeps the plate bright against white liners, light cabin panels, and other pale interior surfaces.
• VM20697.15: Matt Anthracite. This finish gives the installation a darker face that sits quietly on anthracite or black-accented panels.

Compatibility and fit

This family is laid out for one insert in horizontal orientation or two in vertical orientation, depending on how the panel is arranged. It also works in built-in installations, wall ducts, and subfloor duct box setups where the Eikon 2-module panel format is already specified.

It makes the most sense on refits or new builds that already use Eikon devices and need a matching front finish around a switch, control, or service point. On board, that usually means cabins, enclosed utility spaces, and protected console panels rather than exposed deck locations.

Installation environment

Because the plate is rated IP00, it should be used where it is protected from direct spray and regular washdowns. The metal face and lacquered surface give the installation a clean finished edge, while the label area helps when switch functions or service circuits need to be identified clearly.
