Variants

This chart region is offered in two formats, depending on how you prefer to load charts on board.

The chart content and coverage area remain the same across formats. What changes is delivery and setup: a preprogrammed microSD/SD card that you insert into the plotter, or a downloadable version that is installed to a microSD/SD card for use in a single compatible chartplotter.

• 010-C0798-00: Format microSD/SD. Insert the preloaded card into the chartplotter card slot to access the chart region, which is handy if you swap charts between trips.
• 010-D0468-00: Format Download. Install the chart to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express on a computer, then move the card to the chartplotter for use on the water.

Compatibility and fit

This is a Garmin chartplotter chart region, not a standalone app. Confirm your plotter supports BlueChart g3 Vision and that you have an available card slot for microSD or SD, depending on your device and card adapter setup.

Some chart features (such as Auto Guidance and certain 3D/photo layers) depend on chartplotter support and software level. If you run multiple displays on board, verify which unit the card will live in and how your helm layout handles chart sources.

Installation and setup

For the microSD/SD card format, power the chartplotter down, insert the card fully, then restart and select the chart region in the chart menu. Keep the card installed while using the charts.

For the download format, plan on using a computer to write the chart to a microSD/SD card before heading to the dock. Use a clean, reliable card and leave the chart card in the chartplotter whenever you need access to this region.
