Overview

The Vimar Eikon is a 2-module three-rocker switch assembly with three lightable 1P 20AX 1-way switches rated at 250 V. It uses screw terminals, mounts flush, and fits a compact 44.8 x 49 x 36.8 mm body with a 25 mm built-in depth.

This switch works well in protected interior areas on board where three separate controls need to sit in one small space, such as a cabin entrance, berth area, galley panel, or enclosed helm console. The optional exchangeable LED lighting supports control and orientation in low light, while the IP40 rating makes it better suited to dry locations than exposed washdown areas.

The switch body is thermoplastic, halogen-free, and finished in matt plastic. It also includes label space on the face, which helps when circuits need to be identified clearly on a shared switch panel.

Variants

This product is offered in three color configurations.

Across the listed variants, the switching layout, 20AX 250 V rating, lightable function, and 2-module format stay the same. The change between versions is the visible color finish.

• VM20003.N: Color Silver. This version uses the silver finish often referred to as Next, giving the switch a cleaner match with metallic trim and contemporary interior panels.
• VM20003: Color Grey. This grey version keeps a lower-contrast look on darker switch panels and technical control areas.
• VM20003.B: Color White. This white version suits lighter cabin finishes and panels where a brighter switch face is easier to spot.

Installation and fit

This is a flush-mounted installation switch with snap engagement and screw terminals, so it sits neatly in a finished panel or bulkhead without taking much depth behind the surface. The 25 mm built-in depth is useful where space behind the panel is limited.

Because this is part of the Eikon range, fit should be checked against the matching Eikon mounting support and cover plate already used in the boat. That matters most on refits where the switch needs to match an existing Vimar layout and finish.

This switch suits boats that already use Vimar Eikon devices and need three separate switched circuits grouped in one location. Typical onboard uses include interior lighting zones and other switched loads that stay within the stated rating.
