Overview

The Vimar EIKON Series is a range of touch push buttons for remote control in 230 V~ 50-60 Hz installations. Each version is a 1-module, flush-mounted unit with a front touch surface and a locator light for finding the control in the dark, which works well in cabin and accommodation spaces where a flat wall control is preferred.

The body is thermoplastic with a matt finish and snap fastening, and the operating temperature range is -5 °C to +35 °C. This is a wired AC control device with monostable operation, so it belongs in a 230 V onboard installation rather than a 12 V or 24 V DC switching panel.

Variants

This product is offered in three finish options within the same touch push button format.

What changes between variants is the visible colour and, for the Next version, the listed surface protection. The shared format remains 230 V~ 50-60 Hz, 1 module, flush-mounted, matt, thermoplastic, and touch-operated with night visibility.

• VM20123: grey with untreated surface protection. This version suits darker EIKON trim or panels where a grey control point blends in better than white.
• VM20123.N: silver Next finish with lacquered surface protection. The brighter metallic look matches surrounding hardware that uses the Next styling.
• VM20123.B: white with untreated surface protection. This version fits lighter interiors and keeps the switch point discreet on white surrounds or bulkhead panels.

Installation and fit

This insert is made for flush mounting and uses snap engagement, so fit depends on having the correct EIKON modular support, frame, and box layout already in the panel or bulkhead. The 1-module footprint helps when replacing a matching control in an existing Vimar installation or when building out a multi-gang EIKON layout.

Electrical and system integration

In use, the touch front works as a momentary control and the front LED stays on for night identification. When paired with compatible Vimar devices such as 20120, 20121, and 20125, it acts as a remote touch control for the loads managed by those units.

For boat installations, this range is a better match for vessels with onboard 230 V AC distribution and interior switching points than for DC-only boats. It suits owners and builders already working within the Vimar EIKON platform and looking to keep the switchgear consistent across cabins, passageways, or similar spaces that stay protected from regular spray.
