The Vimar ARKÉ Series is a range of 2P 16 A 250 V SICURY socket outlets for Euro-American plugs with parallel flat pins and 4.8 mm round pins. Each version is a 1-module, flush-mounted device with screw terminals, enhanced contact protection, and an IP20 rating for protected interior spaces.

On board, this outlet fits dry accommodation areas where a built-in AC receptacle is needed for mixed plug types, such as cabins, saloons, or galley furniture away from spray. The body is halogen-free thermoplastic with a matt finish, and the insert measures 22.3 x 49 x 38 mm.

Across these versions, the socket pattern, 16 A 250 V rating, 50 to 60 Hz frequency, screw-terminal connection, flush-mounted format, and 22.3 x 49 x 38 mm dimensions stay the same. What changes is the visible finish and colour, and the Metal version adds a lacquered surface treatment.

• VM19234: Grey finish, RAL 7015. This keeps the look subdued, which works well where the outlet should blend into darker panels or trim.
• VM19234.M: Metal finish, RAL 9007, with a lacquered surface. The metallic look stands out more on modern interior panels while keeping the same electrical and mounting format.
• VM19234.B: White finish, RAL 9016. This gives a lighter appearance that fits clean cabin liners and bright interior joinery.

Compatibility and fit

This device belongs in an ARKÉ-compatible installation rather than as a stand-alone surface socket. Before ordering, check that your support frame, cover plate, and module layout match the ARKÉ system and that the circuit is a 250 V AC line set up for a 16 A outlet.

It is a good match for boats where the outlet will live inside a dry interior and where crew or guests may use either flat-pin or 4.8 mm round-pin plugs. For exposed cockpits, open deck locations, or compartments that see regular moisture, a higher protection rating is the better fit.
