The Vimar ARKÉ Series is a double 2P+E socket outlet with a polarized Euro-American format for boats that need to accommodate both USA and EU plug types in one fitting. Each version is rated 16 A at 250 V~ with 50 to 60 Hz operation, and uses a flush-mounted 3-module body that measures 44.8 x 49 x 36 mm.

This outlet is suited to protected interior areas on board where clean panel integration matters and where a mixed plug standard is useful. It uses screwed terminals, includes enhanced contact protection, and is made from halogen-free thermoplastic. With an IP20 rating, it is intended for dry interior locations rather than exposed deck or washdown areas.

Across the range, the electrical format stays the same: two polarized USA+EU outlets, 16 A and 250 V~, flush mounting, 3-module size, screwed terminals, and IP20 protection. The main differences are the visible finish and, on the Metal version, the surface treatment.

• VM19249: Grey finish. This darker tone works well on panels with muted trim and keeps the outlet visually discreet.
• VM19249.M: Metal finish. This version has a lacquered matt surface and suits installations where a metallic accent matches surrounding hardware or switch frames.
• VM19249.B: White finish. This lighter look blends easily into bright interior panels and clean cabin layouts.

Compatibility and fit

This outlet makes sense on boats that regularly handle a mix of Euro and US plug types in cabins, saloons, or other dry interior spaces. The 3-module format is important to confirm before ordering, especially when matching an existing ARKÉ installation or planning a new switch and outlet panel.

For refit work, check available panel depth, the cutout layout, and that the vessel's AC system matches the 250 V~ product rating. Because the housing is IP20, it is better suited to interior joinery and protected bulkheads than to open cockpit, exterior helm, or other wet locations.
