Overview
The Vimar LINEA Series is a 1-module USB power unit range for built-in charging points on 120-240 V~ 50/60 Hz AC circuits. Across the range, configurations include one USB-A plus one USB-C, two USB-C ports, or a single USB-C output with up to 25 W Power Delivery.
This range makes sense where phones, tablets, cameras, and small onboard electronics are charged every day and a loose adapter is easy to lose or knock out. The 15 W versions supply 5 V up to 3 A, the earlier 12 W version supplies 5 V up to 2.4 A, and the 25 W USB-C version adds more charging headroom for newer USB-C devices.
Key features
- 1-module LINEA format for a built-in USB charging point in a modular installation
- Port layouts across the range include 1 USB-A + 1 USB-C, 2 USB-C, and 1 USB-C with Power Delivery
- 120-240 V~ 50/60 Hz input for AC-fed systems rather than direct 12 V or 24 V battery wiring
- 15 W versions deliver 5 V up to 3 A, and the earlier 12 W version delivers 5 V up to 2.4 A
- Dual-port layouts let two devices charge from one module at the same time
- Listed finish options include black, canvas, and white
Variants
The LINEA range changes in three main ways: finish, port layout, and charging output. Finish options in the listed range are black, canvas, and white, while the port layout changes between one USB-A plus one USB-C, two USB-C, and one USB-C with 25 W Power Delivery.
Output also changes by version. The A+C range includes 15 W models and an earlier 12 W black model, the C+C versions are 15 W, and the single USB-C PD versions are 25 W. Beyond those differences, this remains the same 1-module LINEA family for 120-240 V~ 50/60 Hz installations.
Installation and setup
Because this module is wired into the vessel's AC system, it belongs on the AC side of the boat's electrical layout rather than directly on a 12 V or 24 V battery circuit. The 1-module format suits a flush position in compatible LINEA mounting points where a fixed charging outlet is easier to live with than a plug-in USB adaptor.
Compatibility and fit
For onboard use, the natural locations are protected interior areas such as cabins, saloons, berth sides, or chart tables where crew charge personal devices underway or in port. The 25 W USB-C option is more relevant when tablets, newer phones, cameras, or some USB-C notebooks are part of the charging mix, while the 15 W layouts cover routine phone charging and two-device top-ups.
