Overview

The Vimar EIKON Series 1 Module Metal Cover Plate is a 1-module cover plate for EIKON switching devices, with a 42 x 82 mm face, 9.85 mm depth, and support for both horizontal and vertical mounting. It is made for flush-mounted and built-in installations and can also be used with wall ducts and subfloor installation duct boxes.

The front is lacquered with a matt finish, the plate is halogen-free, and it includes a label space on the frame. With an IP00 rating, it is better suited to protected interior locations on board than exposed wet areas.

Variants

This cover plate is offered in three color finishes.

Across the range, the 1-module format, mounting direction, clamp fastening, flush-mount compatibility, and overall dimensions stay the same. The visible change between variants is the finish on the front of the plate.

• VM22666.03: Grey. This finish has a darker anthracite look, similar to RAL 7043, for panels where a lower-contrast trim works better.
• VM22666.02: Silver. This finish has a neutral grey-silver appearance, similar to RAL 7042, that fits lighter metallic hardware and modern interiors.
• VM22666.01: White. This finish is similar to RAL 9003 and keeps the trim light and understated on white or light-colored panels.

Installation and fit

This plate is sized for a single EIKON module and uses clamp mounting with a mounting grid. It can be fitted with the long side vertical or horizontal, which helps when you are matching an existing switch layout or working around limited panel space.

Check the insert format before ordering, especially in refit work where other Vimar families or third-party hardware may already be installed. The low built-in height helps keep the front profile neat once the plate is in place.

Use on board

This cover plate fits cabins, heads, galleys, nav stations, and other protected interior switch locations where the EIKON look needs a metal front and a matt finish. It also works well in interior refits where the visible trim color needs to line up with the rest of the switching hardware.
