Overview
The Vimar ARKÉ Series is a range of F-type female socket connectors used to terminate coaxial TV and satellite lines in a fitted wall plate or panel. Each version uses an IEC 60169-24 F-type female connection and handles frequencies up to 2400 MHz.
This is a single-outlet end socket with support for remote power supply through the coax line. The insert body measures 22.2 x 49 x 30 mm and mounts by snap engagement, which helps keep the installation neat inside a compatible ARKÉ layout.
For marine interiors, this type of insert fits best in protected spaces such as cabins, saloons, and helm consoles where a coax feed needs a clean finished outlet instead of a loose cable end. It is a practical match for onboard TV and satellite distribution where an F-type male connector is already part of the wiring plan.
Key features
- IEC 60169-24 F-type female coaxial connection for TV and satellite signal points
- Rated for frequencies up to 2400 MHz
- Single-outlet end socket format
- Suitable for remote power supply through the coax line
- Snap-mount engagement for quick fitting into the ARKÉ device system
- 22.2 x 49 x 30 mm insert size across the listed finish options
Variants
This product is offered in multiple finish configurations within the same connector format.
Across the listed versions, the connector type, frequency limit, single-outlet layout, remote power compatibility, snap-mount format, and body size remain the same. What changes between variants is the visible finish.
- VM19318 - Grey, RAL 7015. This version suits installations built around darker grey ARKÉ trim and keeps the outlet visually discreet on bulkheads and interior panels.
- VM19318.M - Metal, aluminium tone, RAL 9007. This version changes the visible look to a metallic finish while keeping the same connector layout and installation format.
- VM19318.B - White, RAL 9016. This version works well where the surrounding trim and panel hardware are finished in white and a lighter face is preferred.
Installation and fit
This insert is part of the ARKÉ range, so it should be matched with the correct system components for the final installation. The coax line connects through an F-type male connector, which should be checked before ordering if the boat is being refitted from another connector style.
Because this is a flush device insert rather than a standalone deck fitting, it makes the most sense where the coax run is already routed behind a finished panel. That is usually the case in entertainment panels, cabin joinery, and helm stations with built-in electronics.
Compatibility and use on board
This socket is intended for coaxial signal runs that use the F-type format and is commonly used for TV and satellite distribution. It is a sensible choice for boats that need a tidy signal outlet at the point of use without changing the appearance of the surrounding electrical accessories.
It is especially relevant for refit work where matching the finish of the interior switches and sockets matters, but the signal side still needs a proper high-frequency coax connection.
