Overview

The Vimar LINEA Series is a duplex 2P+E USA outlet with integrated GFCI for 15A, 125V, 60 Hz circuits in a flush-mounted 3-module format. It comes with the mounting frame and is finished with a separate 3-module cover plate from the same series.

This outlet uses screw terminals and a built-in 6 mA fault-current protection device, which is useful where extra protection at the receptacle is required. The body is halogen-free thermoplastic with a matte untreated surface, and the overall size is 116.8 x 79.0 x 39.3 mm.

For boat interiors, this is best suited to protected locations such as cabins, galleys, heads, or crew spaces where a flush-fit USA standard outlet is needed within a Vimar LINEA installation. Its IP20 rating means it should be installed in dry, sheltered areas rather than in open deck or direct spray locations.

Across the range, the electrical rating, GFCI protection, flush-mount layout, 3-module size, and connection method stay the same. The visible change between variants is the front color finish.

• VM30296.G - Color: Black. A dark finish that blends into black panels, helm consoles, and trim with lower visual contrast.
• VM30296.C - Color: Canvas. A softer neutral finish that works well with light upholstery, wood tones, and warm interior palettes.
• VM30296.B - Color: White. A clean light finish that matches white liners, cabinetry, and bright interior surfaces.

Installation and fit

This unit is made for flush mounting and fastens with screws. Before ordering, it is worth checking the wall box depth, the available cutout space, and the matching 3-module LINEA cover plate so the finished installation sits correctly in the panel or bulkhead.

Because it is a USA standard 125V outlet, it should be matched to the onboard AC system and receptacle standard already in use. The built-in GFCI can simplify outlet-level protection where that layout is preferred in the circuit.

Use on board

This outlet makes sense for refit and new-build interior work where the vessel already uses Vimar LINEA hardware or where a clean flush-mounted AC outlet is being added to a protected cabin space.
