Overview

The Vimar ARKÉ Series is a flush-mounted double 2P+E USA outlet with integrated GFCI protection for 15A, 125V, 60Hz circuits. It uses a built-in mounting frame and fits a 3-module ARKÉ layout, which makes it a practical choice for interior AC installations on boats and other spaces that use American standard receptacles.

Its front size is 73 x 107 mm with a device depth of 41.1 mm, so it suits compact panel and bulkhead installations where depth matters. The IP20 rating points to protected interior locations rather than exposed deck areas, and the GFCI function adds an extra level of protection anywhere portable equipment may be plugged in near sinks, galleys, or other damp interior zones.

The body is thermoplastic, halogen free, and finished with an untreated matt surface. That makes it a good fit for cabins, service areas, and refit work where ARKÉ switching is already planned and where the outlet needs to sit neatly within a built-in interior electrical layout.

This product is offered in three color finishes within the same ARKÉ duplex GFCI format.

Across these variants, the outlet layout, electrical rating, built-in mounting frame, and 3-module format stay the same. The visible change is the finish, so the difference is mainly how the outlet sits with nearby trim, panels, and interior hardware.

• VM19296 / Color Grey. Grey gives the outlet a subdued look that works well in darker interiors, utility spaces, and technical panels.
• VM19296.M / Color Metal. Metal brings a more architectural finish that pairs naturally with stainless hardware and modern interior trim.
• VM19296.B / Color White. White keeps the outlet easy to blend into light liners, cabinetry, and clean interior panel work.

Installation and fit

This outlet is flush-mounted and fixed with screws, so it suits bulkheads, cabin joinery, and other protected interior panels with enough clearance for a 41.1 mm device body. Because it is built around a 3-module ARKÉ format, the matching cover plate should be part of the installation plan.

On board, this range makes sense for accommodation spaces, galleys, and other interior areas where 125V AC service is already available from shore power or an inverter-fed circuit and where a USA format receptacle is required. It is not intended for open deck locations or washdown zones.
