The Vimar Plana Series is a range of interchangeable 1M blank modules used to close an unused position in a compatible modular plate or support frame. Each module measures 22.3 x 49.0 x 20.5 mm, mounts flush, and fixes with claws, so it works as a finishing piece when a switch point, outlet position, or future control location is not currently in use.

On board, this part fits best in cabin walls, service spaces, or control panels that already use Vimar Plana modular hardware. It is a non-powered component with nominal voltage 0 V, so it does not connect to the vessel's 12V or 24V supply. Its role is to close the opening, keep the faceplate tidy, and leave the layout ready for later changes.

The body is thermoplastic and halogen-free, with a glossy visible face across the range. This family is available in white, silver, and white with antibacterial treatment, which makes it easier to match the finish already installed on the boat.

The varying point across these versions is the visible color and surface treatment. The 1M layout, 22.3 x 49.0 x 20.5 mm dimensions, flush-mounted installation, claw fastening, glossy surface, thermoplastic body, and halogen-free construction stay the same.

• VM14041.SL: Color Silver. This version has a silver face with a glossy lacquered finish for installations that already use silver Plana trim.
• VM14041: Color White. This is the standard white version with a glossy untreated surface for a uniform look on white Plana plates.
• VM14041.AB: Color White/Antibacterial. This version keeps the white appearance and adds antibacterial treatment for panels in shared interior spaces.

Compatibility and fit

This module belongs to the Vimar Plana range, so fit should be checked against Plana 1M supports and cover plates rather than treated as a universal blank. That matters on a boat where previous refits may have mixed more than one switch series in the same cabin or control area.

Because it uses built-in mounting and claw fastening, it suits flush-mounted assemblies where the support and opening are already in place. The compact depth helps when working in shallow wall cavities or panel spaces where room behind the faceplate is limited.

Installation and use on board
