Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20042 blank module is a 2-module cover insert for closing an unused position in a Vimar Eikon modular installation. It has no switching or outlet function, so it is used when a panel opening needs a neat finish while the surrounding frame and layout stay in place.
It measures 44.7 x 49.0 x 20.5 mm and is made from halogen-free thermoplastic with a matt surface. Built-in mounting with claw fastening makes it suited to refits, spare positions left for future equipment, or panels where a removed control needs to be covered without changing the rest of the assembly. The front also includes space for identification.
Key features
- 2-module blanking insert for unused positions in a Vimar Eikon modular panel
- No electrical or control function, used to close a spare opening cleanly
- Built-in mounting format with claw fastening
- Halogen-free thermoplastic construction with a matt finish
- Front label space for panel identification
- Compact 44.7 x 49.0 x 20.5 mm size
Variants
This range is offered in three color configurations for the same 2-module blank module format.
What changes between variants is the front color. The 2-module footprint, mounting method, material type, and basic dimensions stay the same across the range.
- VM20042.B: Color White. This version suits panels and trim pieces that use a white Eikon finish.
- VM20042.N: Color Silver. This version matches installations that use the silver Eikon look around the module.
- VM20042: Color Grey. This version keeps the darker grey appearance used in matching Eikon panel layouts.
Compatibility and fit
This module is intended for Vimar Eikon systems and occupies one 2-module position within that range. It is a straightforward fit when the surrounding frame and support are already set up for Eikon modular devices.
On board, it makes the most sense in protected helm, cabin, or utility panels where a spare position needs to be closed off neatly for now or kept available for a later upgrade.
Installation and use
Because it is a built-in module with claw fastening, it is best used where the panel cutout and support hardware already match the Eikon format. That makes it useful during refits when one opening is being left unused after a system change or when a panel layout is being cleaned up without replacing the whole plate.
