Overview

The Lopolight 201-015 PRO-EX is a 2 nm all-round green navigation and signal light built for horizontal mounting and hazardous-area installations. It runs on 10-32 VDC, draws 2 W, and carries an IP68 rating for wet decks and regular washdowns.

This is a 360° green light, so it is used when your vessel and local requirements call for an all-round green signal. The housing is black hard coat anodized aluminum (50µ) with a PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel screws, which suits exposed rail locations where salt spray and vibration are part of normal service.

This product is offered in multiple configurations to match different installation and operating conditions.

Across the range, the main differences are whether the light includes a built-in de-icing function and whether the body is a single stack or double stack format. The configurations share key electrical and environmental basics such as 10-32 VDC operation, 2 W draw, IP68 rating, plug connector connection, and a 2 nm all-round green output.

• 201-015-PRO-EX: IEC Ex Zone 1 Certified, single stack. The single stack format keeps the overall height lower (Ø92.5 mm x 103.5 mm) for tighter mounting locations.
• 201-015-PRO-I-EX: Built-in De-Icing Function & IEC Ex Zone 1 Certified, single stack. The integrated de-icing function supports operation in sub-zero conditions where ice buildup can block light output.
• 201-015ST-PRO-EX: IEC Ex Zone 1 Certified, double stack. The double stack format increases the overall height (Ø92.5 mm x 125.5 mm) while keeping the same mounting style and visibility rating.
• 201-015ST-PRO-I-EX: Built-in De-Icing Function & IEC Ex Zone 1 Certified, double stack. This pairs the taller double stack body with de-icing for cold-weather, hazardous-area service.

Installation and wiring

These lights are made for horizontal mounting on a dedicated aluminum base with the cable exiting to the side. Plan the mounting location so the lens has a clear 360° view and is not shadowed by antennas, rails, or work lights.

Protect the supply circuit with a 2A fast fuse with a breaking capacity of at least 1500A, or supply the light through a navigation light controller that provides equivalent short-circuit protection. Cable glands and a ground strap are not included, so specify the correct sealing and bonding parts for your vessel and classification requirements.

Compatibility and use on board

This light is approved to COLREG72 and EN14744 and is also approved to IEC 60945 and IACS E10, with USCG and ATEX/IEC 60079 approvals listed for the PRO-EX range. It is a good match for commercial vessels and workboats that need a certified all-round green signal light and want a compact, straightforward install that holds up on exposed rails and platforms.
