Overview

The Vimar Eikon 20105 is an axial 1P 16 AX 250 V 2-way rocker switch with a lightable, replaceable button for flush-mounted modular installations. It switches up to 16 AX, supports self-ballasted lamps up to 200 W, and uses screw terminals for fixed wiring.

This is a practical switch for protected interior spaces on board where a clean flush fit matters and two-way control is needed from two locations. The optional exchangeable LED can be used for control or orientation, which is useful in cabins, passageways, heads, and other low-light areas.

IP40 protection and a built-in depth of 34.5 mm make it better suited to interior panels and bulkheads than open deck or washdown-exposed locations. It is a 250 V switching device, so it belongs in installations built around that rating rather than low-voltage 12V or 24V DC switch panels.

Variants

This range changes in two ways: finish color and module width. It is offered in grey, silver, and white, with either a 1-module or 2-module layout to match the opening and trim arrangement already used in the installation.

Across the range, the switch function stays the same: axial 1P 16 AX 250 V two-way operation, optional lighting with a replaceable LED, and screw-terminal wiring. The main fit check before ordering is whether the installation takes the narrower 1-module body or the wider 2-module version.

Installation and fit

The 1-module versions measure 22.3 mm wide, 49 mm high, and 44 mm deep. The 2-module versions are 44.8 mm wide, with the same 49 mm height and 44 mm depth. Built-in depth is 34.5 mm.

Because this is a flush-mount modular switch, it fits best where the Eikon layout is already planned and the location is protected from direct spray. Before ordering, check the module count, the depth available behind the panel, and that the circuit is intended for a two-way switch with screw-terminal connection.

Use on board

This switch makes sense for interior lighting points on boats that use AC circuits within the stated rating, especially in cabins, companionways, heads, and enclosed service areas. It is a good match for refits and new interior installations where you want a flush look, a choice of finishes, and the option to add locator lighting without changing the basic switching layout.
