Overview
The i2Systems Profile Tri-Light is a round, surface-mount downlight that cycles between three LED colors using a simple 2-wire connection. It runs on 9-30V DC for 12V and 24V systems and draws 1.5W (about 125mA at 12V).
It is rated IP67 for spray and washdowns, with a stainless steel housing that suits cockpits, hardtops, arches, and other exposed mounting locations. It is not intended for submersible use or areas where standing water can collect over the fixture.
The light has a 3.48 in (88 mm) face with a low 0.72 in (18 mm) profile, and a 120° full-angle beam that spreads light evenly through the diffused lens.

Variants
The Profile Tri-Light is offered with two color sets: Red/Cool White/Blue or Red/Warm White/Blue. Cool white has a crisper look for task lighting, while warm white leans softer for cabin and lounge areas.
Trim finish varies by part number: Chrome, White, Brushed Nickel, and Off -White. Electrical input, mounting size, and the 2-wire color-cycling behavior stay consistent across the P1120Z Profile Tri-Light range.
Installation and setup
This is a surface-mount light that fastens with three screws and needs a wire clearance hole behind the fixture. Plan for 0.72 in (18 mm) depth plus room for the wire bend and any connectors inside the mounting surface.
Connect the red lead to a fused 9-30V DC positive feed and the black lead to DC negative. To cycle colors, switch the circuit off and back on in under a second; if multiple fixtures fall out of sync, leave power off for a few seconds, then reapply power so they restart together.
Compatibility and fit
Use it where a wide-beam, low-profile downlight makes sense on board, including hardtops, cockpit overheads, arches, helm areas, companionways, and cabin accents. The IP67 seal handles wet conditions, but avoid mounting where the light can sit in standing water or be hit by high-pressure water streams.
This light is a good match for boaters who want a red night option plus a white channel for working on deck, with a blue setting for dockside atmosphere, without adding extra conductors or separate fixtures.
