Overview
The Garmin 010-12105-10 is a trolling motor transducer mount for Garmin scanning transducers that use a 4-pin or 8-pin connector.
It puts the transducer on the trolling motor instead of the transom, which is a common setup for bow fishing and slow-speed work where you want the sonar view to follow the motor direction. The mount sits in a low-profile position to help reduce snags and impacts when you are around weeds, timber, and shallow structure.
Key features
- Mounting bracket for Garmin scanning transducers with 4-pin or 8-pin plugs.
- Attaches the transducer to the trolling motor so the sonar view tracks with steering direction.
- Low-profile mounting position helps reduce catches on underwater cover and trailer bunks.
- Supports cleaner cable routing up the trolling motor to keep slack and strain off the connector during stow and deploy.
- Commonly used with Garmin fishfinder lines that pair with 4/8-pin scanning transducers, including echo, echoMAP, GPSMAP, and STRIKER Vivid.
Installation and setup
Place the transducer so the sensing face is level when the trolling motor is deployed. If the transducer is tilted up or down, bottom readings can drop out as speed and angle change.
Run the cable up the motor and leave enough slack for full steering travel and for the motor to stow without pulling on the plug. Keep the cable clear of hinge points and any areas that pinch when the motor is folded.
Compatibility and fit
This mount is intended for Garmin scanning transducers that use a 4-pin or 8-pin connector. Confirm the connector style on your transducer before ordering.
If your boat has an existing transducer mount or a transducer with a different connector, match the transducer and any adapter harness to your display and wiring route first, then mount the transducer once the cable path is planned.
Maintenance and care
After saltwater use, rinse the mount area and check the mounting points occasionally, especially if the trolling motor sees heavy vibration or repeated trailering. Keep the 4/8-pin connector clean and protected when disconnected so grit does not work into the seal.
