The Perko 0618000STS is a 12 volt LED side navigation light with a stainless steel cover and black polymer base for power-driven boats under 20 meters, or 65.6 feet, in length. It is built for vertical surface mounting and gives the required red or green sidelight visibility from the bow area of the vessel.

This light is a practical replacement or OEM-style choice when the boat needs a low-draw LED sidelight with 2 nautical mile visibility. The #6 screw size helps confirm mounting hardware fit during installation, especially when replacing older side lights on the hull, cabin side, or console face.

Installation and fit

Mount this sidelight only on a vertical surface where the light can show its proper sector without obstruction from rails, canvas, anchors, trolling motor hardware, or deck gear. Before drilling, check the mounting position from the bow and from the beam to make sure the lens will remain visible when the boat is loaded and underway.

For a clean installation, route the wiring so it is protected from chafe and standing water, then seal the fastener holes and wire pass-through as appropriate for the mounting surface. As with any navigation light, polarity, circuit protection, and switch labeling should be checked before final use at night.
