Overview
The Attwood Marine 93806YUS7 is a 6-foot fuel line kit for Yamaha engines and tanks with a 3/8-inch inside diameter hose, a low-permeation primer bulb, and a Universal Sprayless Connector. It uses EPA-compliant low-permeation hose for modern fuel systems, including ethanol-blended gasoline, and the hose is rated up to 100 C with a 600 psi rating.
This is a practical replacement for portable tank setups where clean disconnects and dependable priming matter. The sprayless connector helps reduce fuel spray when you connect or disconnect at the tank, and the hose construction helps limit kinking and hardening in normal marine use.
Key features
- 6-foot fuel line assembly with 3/8-inch inside diameter for Yamaha portable tank to outboard connections
- Low-permeation hose and multi-layer primer bulb for use with ethanol-blended fuel
- Universal Sprayless Connector at the tank side to reduce fuel spray during connection and disconnection
- Fiber-reinforced hose rated up to 100 C and 600 psi
- Tank-side fitting works with standard 1/4-inch NPT tank outlets
Compatibility and fit
This kit is set up for Yamaha engine and tank connections, so it fits best when you are replacing an older Yamaha fuel line rather than building a custom assembly from separate fittings. The first things to confirm before ordering are the 3/8-inch hose size and the connector style already on your engine and portable tank.
On the tank side, the connector uses a male 1/4-inch NPT fitting. That detail matters when you are matching this kit to an existing portable fuel tank or replacing only part of a fuel delivery setup.
Installation and use
This kind of assembly makes sense on skiffs, inflatables, center consoles, and other boats that run a portable tank and get disconnected between trips. It also suits owners replacing a hose that has gone stiff, a primer bulb that no longer feels consistent, or a tank connection that tends to spit fuel when uncoupled.
Route the hose with smooth bends, keep it away from sharp edges and hot engine surfaces, and confirm both end fittings before installation. Where the tank fitting threads into a standard 1/4-inch NPT outlet, use a fuel-safe thread sealant that is appropriate for the connection.
