Overview
The Garmin 010-11376-00 is a BNC to RCA adapter for marine camera installs that need to transition from a BNC male connector to an RCA male connection. It is compatible with the Garmin GC 10 and GCL 20 Low-Light Imaging Camera.
Use it at the end of a camera video run when the camera or extension cable terminates in BNC, but your display or video input on board is set up for an RCA-style connection. This adapter is only for the video connector change and does not alter camera power wiring or any on-screen setup.
Key features
- Converts a BNC male camera connector to an RCA male connection
- Compatible with Garmin GC 10 and GCL 20 Low-Light Imaging Camera video cabling
- Useful when tying a camera feed into video inputs that use RCA connectors
- BNC bayonet-style lock helps the connection stay seated in high-vibration areas
- Avoids re-terminating coax when you only need to change the connector type
Compatibility and fit
Confirm that your existing video lead ends in a BNC male connector on the side you are adapting. The output side of this adapter is an RCA male plug, so the mating point needs an RCA female jack or an RCA female coupler, depending on your setup.
This is a straightforward connector adapter for a camera video signal path. If your system uses a different connector style, or you are adapting something other than a camera video feed, verify the connector types before ordering.
Installation and setup
Install the BNC side by aligning the bayonet lugs, pushing the connector fully home, then twisting to lock. Seat the RCA side firmly into the mating jack and secure nearby cabling so the adapter is not carrying cable weight or being flexed as the boat moves.
Like any video connection on a boat, it is best placed inside a console, behind the helm, or in another protected space. If the connection sits in a damp locker, add strain relief and keep the joint protected from spray and washdowns to reduce corrosion over time.
Use on board
This adapter is a practical fit for boats adding a stern or engine-room camera where the display or video input is already RCA-based, or for refits where an existing BNC camera run needs to mate with an RCA connection at the helm. It also suits low-light camera setups where the goal is a clear video feed for docking and night operation without changing the entire cable run.
