The Lopolight 401-017-B is a mounting plate for Lopolight X01 series vertical sidelights when you want a vertical install that sits flat and keeps the light stable.

It is made from black anodized aluminum with a 25µ anodizing layer and weighs about 0.1 kg (3.53 oz). This is a mechanical mounting part with no electrical connections and draws 0 mA on 12 VDC or 24 VDC systems.

It is commonly used during new installs and refits on cabin sides, pilothouse wings, hardtops, arches, and other vertical faces where a purpose-built plate makes alignment easier.

Installation and setup

Dry fit the plate, mark the fastener holes, and bed it properly to keep water out of the structure. Once the plate is secured, attach the sidelight and check alignment so the light sits square to the boat and maintains the correct viewing sectors.

Since the plate does not draw power, there is no wiring to it. Route the sidelight cable with chafe protection and strain relief where it passes through the mounting surface.

Use on board
