Overview
The Raymarine Quantum Radar Power Cable is a power lead for Raymarine Quantum radar installations, offered in 10 m and 15 m lengths with bare wires at the vessel end. It is used when fitting a Quantum radar scanner or replacing the radar power cable, giving the installer a clean run from the radome location to the boat’s power distribution point.
The bare-wire end is useful on real boats where the final termination depends on the helm layout, arch, hardtop, mast route, breaker location, and available cable path. The two length options help reduce excess cable on compact center consoles while still covering longer routes on cruisers, sailboats, and boats with elevated radar mounts.
Key features
- Power cable for Raymarine Quantum radar installations.
- Available in 10 m and 15 m lengths for different radar mounting and cable-routing layouts.
- Bare-wire vessel end allows termination to match the boat’s electrical installation plan.
- Useful for new radar installs, refits, or replacement of an existing Quantum radar power lead.
- Suited for routing through hardtops, arches, radar mounts, or mast runs where cable length matters.
Variants
This product is offered in two cable-length configurations for different installation layouts.
The cable length changes between variants, while the product type remains a Quantum radar power cable with bare wires.
- A80309: Cable length 10 m. This length suits shorter runs where the radar is mounted near the helm, on a hardtop, or on a compact radar arch.
- A80369: Cable length 15 m. This length gives extra reach for longer routes, such as higher arches, pilothouse runs, or sailboat mast installations.
Installation and setup
Plan the cable route before pulling the lead through the boat, especially around tight bends, deck penetrations, radar mounts, and areas exposed to vibration. Leave enough service loop at both ends so the radar can be accessed later without straining the cable or the termination point.
The bare wires should be terminated as part of a properly protected marine DC circuit. Use suitable marine wiring practices for strain relief, chafe protection, waterproofing at pass-throughs, and corrosion-resistant terminations in damp or saltwater environments.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is intended for Raymarine Quantum radar systems. Match the cable length to the actual route from the radome to the power connection point, not just the straight-line distance, because bends, service loops, and hidden runs through the boat can add more length than expected.
It is a good match for owners and installers working on Quantum radar refits, electronics upgrades, or installations where the original power cable length does not suit the vessel layout.
