Overview

The cable length changes between variants, while the product type remains a Quantum radar power cable with bare wires.

• A80309: Cable length 10 m. This length suits shorter runs where the radar is mounted near the helm, on a hardtop, or on a compact radar arch.
• A80369: Cable length 15 m. This length gives extra reach for longer routes, such as higher arches, pilothouse runs, or sailboat mast installations.

Installation and setup

Plan the cable route before pulling the lead through the boat, especially around tight bends, deck penetrations, radar mounts, and areas exposed to vibration. Leave enough service loop at both ends so the radar can be accessed later without straining the cable or the termination point.

The bare wires should be terminated as part of a properly protected marine DC circuit. Use suitable marine wiring practices for strain relief, chafe protection, waterproofing at pass-throughs, and corrosion-resistant terminations in damp or saltwater environments.
