Overview
The Blue Sea Systems 360 Panel Rocker Switch is a switch module for Blue Sea Systems 360 panels, with action options for simple on/off control, two-position switching, center-off switching, and momentary control.
This range is built for 360 Panel installations in Gauge, DC Push Button + Switch, and DC Battery Management modules. Depending on the selected configuration, the switch uses either DPST or DPDT pole and throw arrangement, giving installers a way to match the switch action to the circuit behavior needed at the helm, electrical panel, or battery management area.
Electrical ratings are 8A at 125V AC, 5A at 12V DC, 5A at 24V DC, and 4A at 250V AC. The switches use wire leads with a 6.00 in, 152.4 mm lead size, which helps when wiring inside a compact panel where access is limited.
Key features
- Made for Blue Sea Systems 360 panels used with Gauge, DC Push Button + Switch, and DC Battery Management modules.
- Available with DPST or DPDT switching, depending on the selected action configuration.
- Supports common marine DC systems with ratings of 5A at 12V DC and 5A at 24V DC.
- Also rated for AC loads up to 8A at 125V AC and 4A at 250V AC when the circuit is wired and protected correctly.
- Wire lead termination gives the installer a practical connection point inside the panel.
- 6.00 in, 152.4 mm leads help with routing and service access in tight panel spaces.
- Momentary ON positions are marked with parentheses, making it easier to identify spring-return switch behavior.
Variants
The range varies by switch action and pole/throw layout. The available actions cover maintained ON positions, center-OFF selections, and momentary ON positions, so the same panel style can be used for different control needs without changing the look of the 360 Panel installation.
The DPST version is used for ON-OFF control, while the DPDT versions support switching between two circuit paths or functions. Momentary positions are shown in parentheses and return when released, which is useful for controls that should not stay latched.
Installation and setup
This switch is intended for use as part of a 360 Panel assembly, not as a loose universal rocker for any cutout. Before ordering, match the switch action to the way the circuit should behave, then confirm that the circuit load stays within the listed AC or DC amperage rating.
Use appropriately sized wire and circuit protection for the connected load. In boat panels, small control circuits are often close together, so clean lead routing and clear labeling help future troubleshooting and reduce the chance of mixing up conductors during service.
Use cases on board
This switch family is a good match for owners and installers maintaining or building a Blue Sea Systems 360 Panel on cruising boats, fishing boats, and workboats where the panel layout needs to stay consistent across multiple functions.
The different action styles make the range useful for straightforward accessory switching, source selection, and momentary control tasks where a spring-return action is preferred.
