Overview

The Vimar Idea 16107 is a flush-mounted modular push button for the Idea range, with a 1P NO contact, an NC auxiliary contact, and a 16 A 250 V~ rating. It suits sheltered interior switching points on board where you need momentary control and want it to match other Vimar Idea devices.

The body is halogen-free thermoplastic with a matte finish and IP40 protection. The device measures 24.80 mm wide, 50.10 mm high, and 36.10 mm deep, and the front includes a label space that helps when circuits or functions need to be identified clearly on a panel.

This is best suited to dry indoor locations on a boat, such as a cabin entrance, interior helm panel, or utility area. It is not the right choice for exposed deck positions or spaces that see direct spray or washdown.

Across the listed variants, the visible difference is color. The switching function and the stated 16 A 250 V~ rating remain the same.

• VM16107.B: Color Ivory. This version suits lighter interior panels and trim where a softer look is preferred.
• VM16107: Color Gray. This version works well where the switchgear is meant to blend into darker or lower-contrast panels.

Installation and onboard use

Installation is flush-mounted and uses snap engagement, so it fits the kind of clean panel layout often used in cabins, galleys, and interior control stations. It is a practical replacement part when the vessel already uses Vimar Idea modular devices and you need the same switching format.

The auxiliary NC contact can be useful when the push button needs to interact with a second control path, indicator logic, or another part of the circuit. For marine refit work, this matters most in protected interior areas where appearance, panel consistency, and straightforward switching function all need to line up.
