Installation and setup

Mount the box to a flat, solid surface and keep cable runs tidy so the device can seat without forcing the wiring. If the mounting surface is thin or insulated, the insulated cavity helps keep conductors separated from the enclosure body.

Seal any penetrations through the mounting surface so water cannot track into the panel. The final protection level depends on correct assembly and careful sealing around the installation.

Use on board

This enclosure fits well on boats that are already standardized on Vimar modular hardware and need a protected surface-mount point where flush mounting is not possible.
