Overview
The Lumishore 010-14466-00 is a 3-way cable splitter that breaks one 6-core lighting feed into three branches for compatible LUX Strip Light and Neon Flex installations.
It is used when you want multiple runs from a single point, such as splitting lighting into separate lockers, steps, toe-kicks, or cockpit accents, without building your own junction. Because it is a passive splitter, it does not replace a controller or power feed; it simply routes the same 6-core connection to three outputs.
Key features
- 3-way splitter for a 6-core lighting connection
- Compatible with LUX Strip Light and Neon Flex systems that use 6-core cabling
- Useful for branching one feed into separate lighting runs across different areas of the boat
- Helps keep wiring tidy by creating a clean split point instead of multiple in-line splices
- Fits typical marine routing behind panels, under gunwales, and inside lockers when properly supported and protected
Compatibility and fit
This splitter is intended for LUX Strip Light and Neon Flex setups that use a 6-core connection end-to-end. It is not a general-purpose power splitter, and it is not used for NMEA networks or other marine electronics wiring.
If you are branching to multiple light runs, confirm that the total connected load stays within the limits of the controller and power supply used in your lighting system.
Installation and setup
Plan the split point where the main feed can reach all three branches with clean cable runs and minimal strain. Secure the splitter and cables so vibration does not tug on the connections, and leave a service loop where access is tight.
For best results on a boat, place the splitter where it is protected from direct spray and washdowns, and route cables with drip loops when they pass near deck penetrations or wet lockers. Power up and test all branches before finalizing panels and trim.
Use cases on board
This is a good match for boats adding accent lighting in multiple zones from a common feed, such as splitting one run to port and starboard toe-kicks and a third branch to a companionway or helm footwell.
It is also helpful on refits where you are extending an existing LUX Strip or Neon Flex layout and need a clean branch point without re-running the entire feed.
