Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20682 is a round cover plate for Eikon switching points, with a 2-central-module layout, a 120 x 80 mm face size, and a 9 mm depth.
It is the visible trim piece that finishes the switch or outlet position on the panel and gives the installation a cleaner, more deliberate look. The plate can be mounted horizontally or vertically, uses clamp fixing, and is made for built-in installation.
On board, this type of cover plate makes the most sense in protected interior spaces such as cabins, saloons, passageways, and other finished bulkheads where the switching is in plain view. With an IP00 rating, it is not meant for open exterior positions or any area that sees direct spray.

Variants
This range is offered in a wide spread of finishes, including Satin Chrome, Satin Nickel, Brushed Inox, Polished Gold, Satin Gold, Metallic Champagne, Arctic White, White, White Oak, and American Cherrywood.
The finish selection changes more than colour. Depending on the code, the face material moves between lacquered or refined metal, stainless steel, and solid wood, and some versions pair that surface with a chromed, white, Next, or golden frame. Across the range, the plate format stays the same, with the same 120 x 80 mm size, 9 mm depth, 2-central-module layout, and horizontal or vertical mounting pattern.
Compatibility and fit
This cover plate is meant for Vimar Eikon installations and should be matched to the correct Eikon frame and device arrangement already on the panel. It finishes the visible opening and trim; it does not replace the switch, outlet, or mechanism behind it.
For refit work, the practical check is the layout before the finish. Confirm that the existing Eikon position uses the 20682 round format and that the size, orientation, and mounting method line up with the panel cutout and surrounding trim.
Use on board
It is a good match for boats where the electrical trim is part of the interior finish, especially in cabins, guest spaces, and saloon panels where switches sit in clear view. The broad finish range also helps when the switch plate needs to sit comfortably next to timber joinery, painted panels, stainless details, or warmer metallic accents.
