Overview
The Perko Flush Ring Pull is a round, recessed pull for boat cabinetry, locker faces, drawers, and small panels where a low-profile handle matters. It sits close to the surface when not in use, helping reduce snags in tight cabin, cockpit, or storage areas.
This chrome-plated zinc alloy pull is part of Perko Figure No. 1232 and is offered with either a 1-5/8 inch or 2 inch outside-diameter face plate. Both sizes use #6 screws, which makes the hardware practical for refits where the face plate diameter and fastener size need to be checked before drilling or replacing an existing pull.
Key features
- Round flush ring pull for marine cabinetry, lockers, drawers, and small access panels.
- Low-profile ring reduces protrusion compared with a raised handle in walkways and storage areas.
- Chrome-plated zinc alloy construction gives the pull a bright finish that matches many cabin and deck hardware layouts.
- Available in 1-5/8 inch and 2 inch outside-diameter face plate sizes for different panel layouts or replacement needs.
- Uses #6 screws, so fastener compatibility is straightforward to check during installation.
Variants
This flush ring pull is offered in two configurations with the same product style and finish.
The outside diameter of the face plate is the key difference between the variants. The chrome-plated zinc alloy construction and #6 screw size remain consistent across the two listed sizes.
- 1232DP1CHR: 1-5/8 inch outside-diameter face plate. This smaller face plate works well where panel space is limited or where the replacement opening is sized for a compact round pull.
- 1232DP2CHR: 2 inch outside-diameter face plate. This larger face plate gives more visible coverage at the mounting surface and suits panels with room for a slightly wider round pull.
Installation and fit
Before installation, confirm the face plate diameter against the available flat surface and any existing cutout. On replacement jobs, the outside diameter and screw pattern are especially important because a flush pull needs to sit cleanly against the panel without leaving exposed marks from old hardware.
Use fasteners suitable for the panel material and the surrounding marine environment. A careful dry fit before final fastening helps the ring move freely and keeps the pull sitting flush when closed.
Use on board
This pull is a good match for boat owners replacing worn cabinet hardware or adding a low-profile grip to a locker, drawer, or access panel. The recessed ring is useful in areas where raised handles can catch on clothing, bags, dock lines, or fishing gear.
