Overview

The Vimar Arké SICURY socket outlet is a flush-mounted 2P+E receptacle for 127 V AC circuits, rated 15 A at 50/60 Hz and built in a one-module format. It uses American and Saudi Arabian standard socket geometry and includes SICURY contact protection, which adds a useful safety layer in living spaces and other regularly used onboard interiors.

For boat installations, this outlet makes the most sense in protected interior locations such as cabins, helm consoles, saloons, and service panels where a standard interior device is appropriate. Its IP20 rating means it is intended for dry areas rather than exposed deck positions, washdown zones, or other spaces that take spray.

Variants

This outlet is offered in three finish options within the same Arké device format.

Across the range, the electrical format stays the same at 2P+E, 15 A, 127 V~ with SICURY contact protection. The visible difference between variants is the front color and finish.

• VM19242.B: White. This version keeps the same outlet format with a light finish that blends into white or light-toned interior switch panels.
• VM19242.M: Metal. This version keeps the same outlet format with a metallic look that works well alongside stainless trim and darker interior hardware.
• VM19242: Grey. This version keeps the same outlet format with a neutral grey front that matches standard Arké interior installations.

Installation and fit

This is a one-module flush device with snap mounting and screw terminals, so panel fit matters before ordering. Check that the installation point is set up for the Arké modular system and that there is enough depth behind the panel for the 36.9 mm body.

The 15 A, 127 V~ rating should match the vessel's AC distribution plan and the receptacle standard used on board. Because this is a fixed-wiring device, installation is better handled as part of a proper panel build or refit rather than as a loose add-on outlet.

Use on board

This outlet is a good match for refits and new interior panels where you want a compact receptacle in cabins, galley areas, crew spaces, or helm furniture that stays dry. It is less suited to exterior positions or compartments that need splash protection, since the device is rated IP20 and does not use a protective lid.
