Overview
The Garmin 010-01365-00 is a 4 ft (48 inch) open-array radar antenna assembly for a GMR Fantom open-array system when you already have, or plan to add, a compatible Fantom radar pedestal.
This listing is for the antenna array only. The pedestal is the separate rotating base that handles power and network connections, so the array by itself is not a complete radar.
With a full 4 ft array length, it suits hardtops, radar arches, and masts where you have room for the antenna to rotate with clear sweep around the boat.
Key features
- 4 ft (48 inch) open-array antenna assembly for GMR Fantom open-array radar setups
- Array-only component intended to be used with a compatible GMR Fantom pedestal (pedestal not included)
- Common replacement part when the existing pedestal is still serviceable but the array needs to be swapped
- 4 ft footprint helps you plan spacing on a hardtop, arch, or mast so the array can rotate without contacting rigging or accessories
- Packaged dimensions listed as approximately 55 in long x 10 in wide x 8 in high, with a boxed weight around 16.6 lb
Compatibility and fit
This antenna array is intended for GMR Fantom open-array installations that use a 4 ft array. Confirm your pedestal model is the Fantom type that accepts a 4 ft array before ordering, especially when mixing new and existing parts.
In a complete system, the pedestal is what ties into the boat, including power and the Garmin network connection to supported Garmin chartplotters. Network and power cabling are handled at the pedestal, not at the array.
Installation and setup
Plan the mounting location so the array has full rotation clearance and sits as level as practical with the boat’s waterline. On sailboats, account for rigging and spreaders; on powerboats, watch for antennas, outriggers, and light bars that can shadow parts of the sweep.
For replacements, check the pedestal top and mounting points for corrosion, clean the mating surfaces, and recheck alignment after the first run in chop or heavy wake.
Use on board
This is a practical match for boats that already run a Fantom open-array pedestal and need a 4 ft array for day and night navigation, coastal runs, and scanning around fishing grounds where you want consistent radar coverage.
Maintenance and care
Rinse the array with fresh water after heavy salt spray and keep the rotating area free of lines and covers. Periodically check that mounting hardware stays tight and that the antenna can rotate freely without rubbing nearby fittings.
