Overview
The Lumitec 101904 is a Contour Masthead 360 all-round anchor combo light with a 39 inch (1 m) shaft that mounts into a standard antenna mount base. It combines an all-round white anchor light, a forward masthead light, and a stern light in one fixture, so you can wire both running and anchor modes without stacking multiple lights on the mast or hardtop.
It runs on 10 to 30 VDC for 12 V and 24 V systems, draws 185 mA at 12 V or 95 mA at 24 V (2.2 W), and the light assembly is IP67 compliant for wet weather and routine washdowns. Visibility ratings are 3 nautical miles for the masthead and anchor functions, and 2 nautical miles for the stern function.
Because navigation lights only work when their sectors stay clear, plan the mounting height and nearby antennas or radomes so the all-round beam is not blocked by structures by more than 6 degrees in any direction.
Key features
- 39 inch (1 m) mast shaft for standard antenna-mount installations; antenna mount base is not included
- Three functions in one light head: masthead (running), all-round white anchor, and stern
- Conforms to ABYC C-5 with U.S. Coast Guard visibility ratings: 3 NM masthead and anchor, 2 NM stern
- 10-30 VDC input for 12 V and 24 V boats; 185 mA at 12 V or 95 mA at 24 V (2.2 W)
- IP67 compliant sealing for exposed mounting locations
- Four-wire hookup for straightforward switching: black negative, blue anchor positive, white masthead positive, brown stern positive (stern circuit optional)
Installation and setup
This version mounts to a standard antenna mount and routes the power cable through the mount, so confirm your mount has a wiring exit path before you start. Use a mounting surface that is flat and clean, and seal any fastener holes and cable pass-throughs appropriate for your installation.
Orientation matters for compliance. Use the supplied orientation card to line the light up with the bow, then lock the shaft in position so the masthead and stern sectors face the correct directions.
Electrical and switching
Black is the common negative. Blue powers the all-round white anchor light. White powers the masthead light for running, and brown powers the stern light for running; the stern lead is optional and is commonly tied into the same switched feed as the masthead lead when both should come on together.
Feed the circuit from a 10-30 VDC source and protect the positive feed with 1 A circuit protection. Use sealed terminations, keep splices in a dry spot when possible, and support the cable so it is not working against vibration at the base.
Use cases on board
This layout is a good match for center consoles, sportfishing boats, and pilothouse setups that already use an antenna mount base and want one mast fixture that covers anchor and running modes. It also works well when you want the stern light at the mast instead of running a separate stern-light circuit aft, as long as the stern sector remains unobstructed from typical loading and trim.
Maintenance and care
Rinse with fresh water after heavy salt exposure. Avoid chemical cleaners and solvents on plastic parts, and re-check the mount and wire support points periodically so the shaft stays aligned and the cable stays protected.
