The Attwood Marine 15221-7 is a quick-release gunwale strap for securing the aft section of a boat to the trailer during transport. It uses 2 inch webbing and a 13 foot overall length, giving enough span to run over the gunwale and down to trailer tie points while helping limit vertical movement on the road.
This strap uses an over-center buckle that tightens quickly and releases by lifting the handle, so it is easy to tension at the ramp or in the yard without dealing with a ratchet. The webbing resists rot, oils, gasoline, and most chemicals, and the heavy-gauge J-hook includes a snap closure with an EDC finish to help fight corrosion around the trailer.
