Overview
The Garmin 010-12067-00 is a 48 ft (14.6 m) threaded power cable for compatible Garmin GMR radar domes and open-array pedestals.
It replaces a damaged lead or supports a fresh install when your radar is mounted on a hardtop, radar arch, or mast and you need a longer run back to the DC distribution panel. The threaded connector tightens down at the radar so the connection stays in place through vibration and spray.
This is a power lead only. It does not replace the radar network or Ethernet cable used for data between the radar and your chartplotter.
Key features
- 48 ft (14.6 m) length for routing from radar mounting points to the boat's DC distribution without splicing in many installs
- Threaded radar-end connector that locks in place and helps prevent accidental loosening
- Built as a dedicated radar power cable, keeping power wiring separate from data cabling
- Compatible with GMR 8 xHD, GMR 18 and 18 HD, GMR 24, 24 HD and 24 xHD, plus GMR 1204/1206 and 404/406/604/606 xHD open-array pedestals
Compatibility and fit
Match the connector style at the radar end before ordering. This cable uses a threaded radar connection and is not the same as other Garmin radar power leads that may be a similar length.
If you are replacing an existing cable, verifying the part number on the old lead is the quickest way to confirm fit.
Installation and setup
Plan a route that keeps the cable protected from chafe and heat, and support it so it cannot move and rub in a seaway. Leave a drip loop at deck entries and use proper glands where the cable passes through a hardtop or deck.
Terminate the DC end to a dedicated breaker or fuse sized for your specific radar model, and follow the radar install guide for wire termination and grounding practices on board.
Use on board
This cable is a good match for boats with a radar on a hardtop, arch, or mast where the power run needs to reach a main panel below deck. It is also handy for refits when an older cable has been cut short or compromised.
