Overview
The Simrad 000-13758-001 is a gimbal mounting bracket for NSS9 evo3/evo3S, Zeus3/Zeus3S 9, and Cruise 9 displays, giving you a secure bracket-mount option at the helm when a flush cutout is not practical.
It supports angle adjustment with side knobs, so you can tilt the screen for better visibility from a seated or standing position. A gimbal install also keeps the back of the display accessible, which makes it easier to manage connectors and service the wiring behind the unit.
Key features
- Compatible with Simrad NSS9 evo3/evo3S, Zeus3/Zeus3S 9, and Cruise 9 displays
- Gimbal (bail) style mount for tilt adjustment and a bracket-mounted helm installation
- Includes mounting knobs and hardware for a complete bracket setup
- Useful as a replacement bracket when refurbishing a helm station or re-mounting a display
- Keeps rear connections reachable for cleaner routing and easier troubleshooting
Compatibility and fit
This bracket is matched to the 9-inch display format listed above. It is not a universal mount, so confirm the model name on your display before ordering, especially if you are replacing an older bracket or moving a unit between boats.
Installation and setup
Mount the base of the bracket to a solid, flat surface on the dash, console, or electronics box where the screen can swing through its tilt range without hitting a windshield frame, throttles, or grab rails. Leave clearance for cabling behind the display, and use marine-appropriate fasteners and backing where needed to handle vibration.
What’s included
- Gimbal bracket
- Mounting knobs
- Mounting hardware
Use cases on board
This is a practical choice for center consoles, pilothouses, and sailboat nav stations where you want the display angled toward the helm and still easy to reach. It also suits refits where the original bracket has been lost, cracked, or corroded and you want the mounting back to factory fit.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt spray off the bracket and knobs during routine washdowns, and re-check knob tightness as part of your normal pre-run scan. If the display is frequently tilted for glare control, keeping the knobs clean helps them turn smoothly and hold position without over-tightening.
