Overview
The Garmin 010-12846-01 is a trolling motor shaft mount for the Panoptix LiveScope LVS12 transducer, letting you attach the transducer to the motor shaft so it turns with your steering.
The mount uses an adjustable fit that works across a wide range of shaft diameters, including common Minn Kota and MotorGuide trolling motors. For shipping and storage, the packaged size is about 2 in H x 6 in W x 7 in L and shipped weight is about 0.25 lb.
This is a practical match for bow-mounted LiveScope setups where you want the live view to follow the trolling motor direction while you work edges, bait, and structure.
Key features
- Shaft-mount kit for Panoptix LiveScope LVS12 transducer installations
- Adjustable design to fit many trolling motor shaft diameters, including Minn Kota and MotorGuide
- Shaft mounting keeps the transducer aligned with trolling motor steering direction
- Lightweight accessory with about 0.25 lb shipped weight
Compatibility and fit
Intended for the Panoptix LiveScope LVS12 transducer. Check that your trolling motor shaft has a straight section with enough clearance for the clamp, and confirm the transducer will clear the prop, skeg, and stowed position through the full steering range.
Installation and setup
Mounting is typically done on the lower section of the trolling motor shaft so the transducer tracks where the motor points. After positioning the transducer, route the transducer cable up the shaft and leave slack where the shaft pivots and stows so the cable is not pulled tight during steering or deployment.
Maintenance and care
After saltwater use, rinse with fresh water and re-check the mount for tightness as part of your normal trolling motor inspection. If you trailer often, it helps to inspect the clamp area for grit and rinse it off before stowing.
