Overview

The Vimar Plana Series 1 Module Relay Actuator is a flush-mounted By-me Plus bus actuator with a 6 A change-over relay output for 120-230 V circuits. It takes one module position in the Plana range, includes LED indication, and comes with bus connection.

On board, this type of module fits best behind interior control points where space is limited and the installation already uses the Vimar By-me Plus system. Its IP40 rating makes it more appropriate for cabins, saloons, enclosed helm areas, and other sheltered spaces than for open deck or washdown locations.

Variants

This product is offered in two finish options within the same relay actuator format.

The finish changes between variants. The electrical rating, mounting method, module width, bus connection, LED indication, C-load suitability, and IP40 protection remain the same across both versions.

• VM14534: White finish. This version keeps a white look that matches white Plana switch positions and interior panels.
• VM14534.SL: Silver finish. This version keeps the same actuator specification with a silver front for installations that use silver Plana trim.

Installation and setup

This actuator is made for flush mounting and takes one module position, which helps when panel space is tight. It is a bus device rather than a stand-alone wall switch, so it belongs in a Vimar By-me Plus installation with the right programming and system layout.

There is no local hand operation on the module. That matters in service areas or technical spaces where direct manual override at the device may be part of the design, because control is expected to come through the bus system.

Compatibility and fit

This unit suits boats that already use Vimar Plana controls and need a compact relay point for an AC circuit inside the accommodation or other enclosed areas. It is a better fit for interior joinery, protected helm panels, or service spaces than for exposed mounting points.

Different phases are not connectable on this actuator, so that point should be checked early in a refit or new installation when matching the device to the boat's distribution layout and the function assigned in the control system.
