Overview

The Vimar VM02671 is a 7-module Eikon Evo LED lamp made for flush-mounted installation on 120 to 230 V AC, 50 to 60 Hz circuits.

It uses a non-exchangeable white LED that draws 3 W and produces about 80 lumens, with a cool-white appearance in the 5000 K to 6300 K range. A built-in selector lets you set brightness to full output or a reduced level (about 30%) for night lighting.

It is rated IP40, so it belongs in interior areas that stay dry and out of direct spray, such as cabins and passageways rather than exposed cockpits or washdown zones. To finish the install, it is completed with an Eikon Evo 7-module cover plate.

Compatibility and fit

This lamp occupies 7 modules and mounts in 6/7-module flush mounting boxes. Plan on pairing it with an Eikon Evo cover plate sized for a 7-module opening so the front sits flush and clean in the bulkhead.

Electrical and system integration

This is an AC device (120-230 V~). It is not intended for 12 V or 24 V DC circuits, so it should be fed from your vessel’s AC distribution through the appropriate lighting breaker.

Installation and setup

Wiring is straightforward for an electrician familiar with marine AC systems: secure the mounting frame, terminate conductors, and set the on-board selector to the brightness level you want. Because it is IP40, choose an installation spot that stays dry and avoids direct spray.

Use on board

On boats already fitted with Vimar Eikon Evo switchgear, this module works well as a locator light near the companionway, a courtesy light along an interior passage, or a low-level night light by bunks. It suits refit projects where matching the existing Eikon Evo plate layout matters more than high lumen output.

Maintenance and care

Wipe the front surface with a soft cloth. Skip solvent cleaners that can dull thermoplastics over time.
