Overview
The Vimar Eikon EVO 21657 is a 7-module cover plate used to finish an Eikon EVO device group so the switches, outlets, or control modules sit behind a clean frame on your boat.
It mounts horizontally or vertically (7 modules across in a horizontal layout, or a single vertical column) and uses clamp mounting with a mounting grid. The range is rated IP00, so it belongs in protected interior locations rather than exposed cockpit or deck areas.
Overall size depends on the finish family, with plate footprints around 200 to 207 mm wide and about 105 to 106 mm high, and a depth around 10 mm.

Across the range, the format stays a 7-module cover plate with horizontal or vertical orientation, clamp mounting, and an IP00 rating. Dimensions vary by material family, which matters if you are matching an existing cutout, a pre-made console panel, or a tight join to joinery trim.
Compatibility and fit
This cover plate is intended for Vimar Eikon EVO 7-module layouts and is used with the matching Eikon EVO supports and mounting frame hardware. On refits, it is worth checking the mounting box format and the installed support/frame so the plate can clamp evenly and sit flat without rocking under vibration.
Because the plate is not sealed (IP00), it works best at the nav station, cabins, saloon, or inside protected consoles. In areas that see spray or washdowns, mount the switching gear in a sealed enclosure and keep the cover plate behind a door or on the dry side of the panel.
Installation and setup
Secure the mounting box or duct section firmly so it cannot move when the boat is pounding, then install the support/frame and devices, and finally clamp the cover plate into place. If you use the label window, keep markings short and consistent so crew can find critical functions quickly during night runs or troubleshooting.
Maintenance and care
Clean with a soft cloth and non-abrasive products. Aluminium and crystal finishes handle regular wipe-downs well, while stone, wood, and leather finishes benefit from gentler cleaners and should be kept away from repeated wetting and harsh solvents.
