Overview

The Vimar ARKÉ Series is a double 2P+E USA socket outlet for 127 V AC systems, rated at 15 A and built in a 3-module flush-mounted format. It uses screw terminals, has an IP20 protection rating, and measures 67.3 x 49.0 x 35.7 mm.

This outlet is meant for installations that use American and Saudi Arabian plug standards and need two receptacles in one compact device. On board, it makes sense in protected interior spaces such as cabins, saloons, or other dry accommodation areas where a flush finish is preferred and the vessel already runs a 127 V AC distribution.

The body is made from halogen-free thermoplastic with a matt surface. Across this range, the electrical format stays the same while the visible finish changes to match the surrounding panel or trim.

Variants

This product is offered in three finish options for the same double 2P+E 15 A 127 V outlet format.

Across the range, the electrical rating, 3-module flush-mounted body, screw-terminal connection, IP20 protection, and overall dimensions stay the same. What changes between variants is the finish and colour.

• VM19246: Grey finish, RAL 7015, untreated matt surface. This gives a darker face that works well where the outlet needs to sit quietly against darker interior panels.
• VM19246.M: Metal finish, RAL 9007, lacquered matt surface. This keeps the same outlet format with a more metallic-looking appearance on the visible face.
• VM19246.B: White finish, RAL 9016, untreated matt surface. This suits lighter cabin and accommodation interiors without changing the electrical specification.

Compatibility and fit

This outlet needs a 127 V AC system and the matching American or Saudi Arabian plug pattern already used on the vessel or at the installation site. It is not a universal outlet, so plug shape and onboard voltage should be checked before ordering.

Its flush-mounted format is useful where a clean face is needed and panel space is limited. The 3-module layout also matters when matching the device to the surrounding ARKÉ installation scheme.

Installation and setup

The unit wires through screw terminals and is intended for flush mounting. On a boat, it is better placed in dry interior joinery rather than areas exposed to spray, washdowns, or open weather, since IP20 protection is for indoor use and not for wet locations.
